Kick started the weekend with an extremely filling dinner on Friday night at Chat Thai with my dearest. Took a very good stroll to walk to off and headed to The Star for some Adriano Zumbo dessert train :3 Let's go again!

On Saturday we had a semi massive family gathering at my aunt's and uncle's house. They even insisted that I brought Danny along and so I did. We had our 'awkward turtle' fingers out ready and indeed it got a bit awkward. He just met more of the Wong side of the family that night.

Cousin Mitchel bonded quickly with him though during the time we watched Wiggles. Didn't move or anything and I got jealous. Mitchel never comes up to me on purpose so that I can hold him for a long time :(

Also from the picture, I made my first parfait! Passionfruit and mango parfait! Everyone that night loved it and even the chef gave it a thumbs up. That's 2 desserts in a row I've showcased to my family that's been approved!

Ended off 2011 in the City, first having a simple yumcha lunch to celebrate Terri's 21st at Zilver Restaurant with Tae, Tanya and Danny. This was actually to make up for not being able to spend proper time with the birthday girl at her 21st party the other night due to there being too many people there and her not being 100% aware of what was happening 3/4 of the night.

Following the lunch, we had a little walk up to World Square and had a little birthday cake before continuing a walk towards Townhall then splitting ways for the NYE preps. Danny and I caught Tin Tin together at the big screen, had our rushed dinner then headed to the Quay where we waited for the fireworks.

12AM: We're still 21, we're still standing there looking at the sky and the earth is still round. 2011 was already yesterday and welcoming 2012 seemed like something we were forced into. 2012 would not end the world, right? I planned a whole list of New Year Resolutions that I really hope to get done for my 2015 plan!

Let's hope this earth spins its 360* thing.

Our Melbourne Story 2011

Our trip to Melbourne (above picture taken at the Melbourne Museum)

On our first day, which is also the day we arrived, we headed straight to the hotel in Bell City Preston. Had a look at the hotel then headed out and tried catching the complicated tram. Didn't know which way the city was and there was no one around for us to ask so we just followed the map and headed down to the train station and even had trouble buying a weekly ticket from the machine.

We got on the train and got our tickets checked too by the Melbourne transit officers. Damn, we broke the law on our first day! We didn't validate the ticket as after purchasing it, we were meant to run it through a little metal box at the entrance. Thank gosh the guy was nice enough to let us off and gave us intructions on where and how to validate it!

Our first night in the city included dinner and a major search of a woolworths which took us a long long time to find! It was located in the QV Building we've walked passed many times. We didn't see the small Woolworths sign there... fail.

Our 2nd day spent in the City again and because the night before, it was already night time and most the shops had already closed. We totally got lost again because the city looked different in the day! We spent the day walking around and also checking out the Queen Victoria Markets. It turned out to look like another Flemington Market except alot cleaner. Was not what we expected and what our Directory had our minds set to.

Headed back towards the heart of the City where we went to see the Central Station of Melbourne. Their building is so awesome! See the picture above? Its the inside of the station. It's cone-shaped!

Along the streets outside the Telstra building. Telstra was doing a great advertisement with the Android phones. A large screen with the angry birds for people to play around with! It gets really packed around that screen in the afternoons too.

Theres another screen beside it that allows people to stand in front and these little snow droplets start falling and Christmas hats detect your head and gets placed there too : )

Our random walk around the City lead us to EasyWay!! I thought I was gonna have to live without it for a week but no : ) My one drink per week made it in me! Theres Danny checking out the Directory we got from the hotel for attractions in the City. We decided on the Melbourne Museum and we got there 1.5 hours before it closed too.

This was one of the buildings outside the Museum. I believe its the Parliament house but I cannot be 100%. Didn't have time to check what building it was due to time and the Museum was closing soon.

Got into the Museum for free as we had our concession cards with us. Thank goodness somewhere in Melbourne accepts concession cards. We thought we had to go as adults the whole trip! Above picture is inside the museum. There were lots to see inside. All the things about Melbourne's history and stuff such as Phar Lap.

Pictures while inside and outside the Museum. Just chilling after such a rush through the place and our feet were getting sore. Come to think of it, during our trip we hardly had time to sit down and rest for a bit. There were too many things to see as the place was so new to us.

Heading down towards the city again. Thats the tram back! Their trams there are so convinient. Its equivalent to a car/bus almost. Travels right in the middle of the road and cars have to give way to it. From what I've seen, driving in Melbourne would be a bitch.

Walking through Chinatown.

After so much walking around, we finally had a good sit down dinner at the sake and grill restaurant in Chinatown. It was one memorable dinner. Ordered a banquet for 2 and had such good service there! Nothing in Sydney can compare from what I've experienced. The food was also really great!

Back at the hotel, resting up. Thats our weird view from our hotel. The place is filled with low rises that its really really "wth?" No high rises for us to remember and use as check points incase we got lost.

Day 3. Started off with a really cold swim at the hotel. I don't know whats wrong with us. The sun wasn't shining yet and already we jumped into the pool for a morning swim/exercise. Didn't last long and we had to get out coz it was unbearable. Unsatisfied with the exercise, baby left me at the hotel room for the gym lol.

Spent the day at Brighton Beach! I wanted to come here for the rainbow huts that go along the beach. We actually walked the wrong way and ended up spending a good while google mapping the place again and realised it was in the other direction we walked. had to take the trek back to where we started and down further from there.

After a good muck around as we walked, we found the huts!

Hello there, non-tourist attraction and empty beach... I wasn't so hyped when I found them. Too exhausted for it all.

We left the suburb and headed down to Docklands where they had a really big shopping complex. That place had nothing but outlets! It was a pity that when we got there, it was a tad bit late and most shops had already closed. I would kinda blame it on getting lost and all at Brighton for it haha

Had dinner near by at the wharf side. Italian for dinner~ Yumm : ) It was very satisfying!

Thats the new phone case I got Danny! and thats a cute little dog that walked by during our dinner. It was so fat and short it was almost being dragged by the owner!

Day 4 was spent shopping at one of the biggest shopping centres near-by. It had over 200 stores in that place and was also pretty well known. We didn't buy much there except for lots of toys at the capsule machines. Had lunch at the Pancake Parlour (spelling...) and headed back to the hotel early to get changed.

It was to be our night out to the Crown Casino! On our way to the Casino we had a tour around the Flinders Street station and Federation Square.

That night at the Casino we had quite some luck. Danny taught me how to play some of the table games and we also learnt a new game they had that scared us off the table. Pai Gow... omg never again.

Here are the toys we bought and collected during our stay. The bigger toys were bought at this really awesome figurine store in the city. I want them to open a store here in Sydney too! I could easily collect my Bearbricks that way!

On our 5th day, we checked out at 11AM and made a trip to DFO where I bought shoes for my sister and I. Wasn't much to see there as its almost exactly the same as the Sydney DFO. Had lunch there at this restaurant they had. They had really big servings and it was very satisfying too.

After the shop around, we took the awesome yellow taxi (yes, their taxis are yellow and it still amazes me!!) to the airport. Our trip ended just like that.

It was a short trip and regretful that we couldn't do many things. If the opportunity comes around again, I would definitely go to Melbourne again and complete my trip. Hopefully by then we'd get lost less and see more.

I'm running a fever and so here I am, stuck at home. If possible, I honestly, really wish to be at work right now. I'm no workaholic or anything but I really do have a lot of documentations to complete as this is the last week of work for the year. I really do hope this fever isn't a lead up to something too serious. I do want to be feeling 100% for next week's getaway as well.

So my greatest buy so far this month is keeping me hanging. Bought 2 items from Jeremy Scott's adiddas wing collection and its yet to arrive! So excited! even my 5 phone cases purchased and shipped from shanghai arrived first.

This weekend has been different. Went on a double date with joey and her other half for dinner, dessert and random walk into the secret room for a game of scrabble. I'm glad it didn't turn out awkward. The boys seem to have gotten along well that night : )

I'm looking forward to seeing more people this week for joey.h's birthday!

Closing year

It's roughly 6 weeks left of 2011. The year surely did fly real quickly with the many eventful things happening. I found this year especially eventful as I can't remember a single weekend where I haven't been out at all or slept before 12AM, thanks to my friends and Danny. It's been awesome, really :)

My progress at work has been getting better and better. Starting at a brand new company and it hasn't exactly been a year yet and already I've had 3 pay rises, 2 bonus rewards and a promotion. I'm currently being trained to become the company's compliance manager and to move away from the international students and start looking after the local students at the college. I'm hoping this will work out for me as its a great opportunity to grow in the education industry and really set my career path that I've been lost on. I honestly am thankful to my boss for giving me this opportunity though. He knows I've been lost as to what I want to do for a career and is really giving me the boost already.

In a month's time I'll be travelling down to Melbourne for a little holiday break from the busy city of Sydney with my boy. We're looking forward to that very much as it will actually be our first get-away together and we've never been there too. My boss has been telling me that Melbourne is a place that I would enjoy due to my likes for shopping, photography and eatery. Hopefully it'll turn out well!

Last night was awesome. VIP seating with Amy and Michael at the concert. The many groups and performances lined up made the 3 hours fly by really quickly. Took over 1000 photos too! Above is just a summary of the night. I managed to catch CN BLUE Yonghwa's autographed ball whilst Amy managed KARA Gyuri's. The night got so hectic to the moment where we really had to stand on chairs to get a better view.

So this weekend I had quite a stomach satisfying weekend.

Starts off with Friday after work, hitting up the noodles night market at Hyde Park. Tried many of the foods they had at the stalls until lines got too long and we weren't bothered lining up anymore. I think from the things I've tried that night, the most enjoyable dish was the saffron chicken rice. LOL I know its not noodles at all.

On Saturday I spent the evening with a few friends over a very kogi-ful dinner. It was great catching up with such a small group : ) that night I couldn't sleep till very late as it felt like my stomach was forever going to be bloated.

Sundayyyy.... Early 21st birthday celebrated with the family and the boy at Intercontinental. Also my sister's 19th birthday celebration. What can I say... I am not a fan of wearing dresses due to my elephant calves from exercising and for that occasion I had to so it was a little bit uncomfortable. Other than that, we ate well... Baby Mitchell surely did.

october long weekend

So my long weekend started off with witnessing my now-not-so-awesome boy sprain his ankle. Now on crutches so plans we had went out the window and in came new plans. Spent Sunday at his place watching movies all afternoon followed by unhealthy pizza for dinner down at the shops near him. His walk for the day. Had our little creative corner moment as we got down on his bedroom floor with a pack of colour pencils and paper. Quite enjoyable actually.

Monday was spent with dad over lunch and laptop shopping. We then went off to pick the boy up from his place to head over to mine for bbq dinner. He spent lots of time bonding with baby cousin Mitchell who was willing to blow goodbye kisses on their first day of meeting. Jealous because I haven't got mine yet! Grrrrrrrr... I'll bribe him for one.

After a night of rolling around feeling uncomfortable, I decided to just get out of bed early and prepare for a Monday working day. As soon as I stepped out, I found mum at the dinner table with an upset look on her face. It was then when I heard of my great grandma's departure.

She had lived a tough and well lived century, my great grandmother. Chosing to leave on a day like today had a meaning behind it too. It's the Autumn moon festive day. A day where families get together as one in peace. Our family however has been tumbled and turned over so many times it brought heart breaks to her. Because she wanted is to get together in peace, her reason to leave today is well understood.

Hoping that the family are able to come together to meet her final wish. Great grandmother, may you rest in peace.

Food, food, glorious food

Recently I've been going through too many food comas. Exploring the whole city area, trying out the different kinds of food and occassionally visiting the familiar tastes. What I've found really good so far is the focaccia sandwich this one cafe makes in Central. Exploring different kinds of food is really what I get up to during the weekends. Can you imagine how intense my exercises get during the weekdays? heh, my 4pecks are surfacing... no joke.

Last weekend we hit up Eastwood for Jean's Chilli Chicken. It was Danny's friend, JK's birthday. The chilli was.. Oh-my-gah. It was crazily chilli but it was goooooood :D The owner of the restaurant (Jean) served us and he provided us with very good service - not to mention that he's a very generous and funny guy. Giving discounts, suggesting the best dishes and also giving us free food on the top. The riceballs he recommended were delicious especially when you throw in his specialty dishes such as the chilli chicken or ginseng chicken.

I'm craving riceballs with chilli chicken and cheese now... : )

3 years ago when I started catching the bus to and from my place, I would usually see this couple at the bus stop. The man was not skinny and not large in size. The woman however was larger than the man and did not have a happy face. The man talked to her constantly and she would tell him her problems. She thought that her shape didn't match his and people would stare at the odd couple. Month after month, year after year, the man tried his best to match her size and he did. Everyday he'd catch the same train as her, hopping onto the same carriage she was in. On every Tuesday, he'd give her a bouquet of flowers when he meets up with her.

Today I saw them walking hand in hand, both with a silver band fitted in their finger. She is the luckiest woman I've seen with such a dedicated man by her side. Congratulations : )

Over the weekend I had quite a nasty fever accompanied by body aches and a terrible headache that kept me in bed. I had a visitor on Saturday night though. Danny came over to check up on me and used the excuse of "returning your lost hair tie". I knew that wasn't the reason though : ) Him visiting me didn't turn out easy though. I pampered him and fed him the appricot-yogurt cake my sister made then put in front of him my bro's maths work which I was meant to solve a few weeks ago LOL :D

I've recovered now. I only managed to get sick until Sunday where I was already out and driving off to La Perouse. Had a yummy and filling seafood roll in exchange of the usual fish and chips. And so for the rest of the week, its work for me... and fingers crossed we get to drop by at Moochi for some yogurt on Friday night... or even Chokolatta... mmm... : )

Spent Friday night shopping with the boy for Tae's birthday present. Had to rush around because stores were closing. Thank goodness it was the city though because the store at Pitt St mall ran out of the size of the jacket we were after so we had to beat time and speed back down towards the Market City store for it. Luckily they had 3 left and 1 of the 3 were the size we wanted.

Saturday was spent celebrating Tae's birthday over lunch at Pancakes at the Rocks. Was great to kind of meet new people as well as seeing familiar faces again. Prior to the lunch, the group were at Luna Park for the morning. The boy and I couldn't make it due to not being able to wake up that early for it and we also needed to get our haircut done at Lidcombe. Quite happy with his and my cut this time round. Might consider going back there next time.

After the lunch we headed to Galaxy to kill time before people started going separate ways. Danny and I walked around the city to do more shopping as he was looking for a present for his cousin's 21st. Unfortunately every store we went to didn't have what we were looking for. So instead of shopping for his cousin, I ended up shopping for him. Bought for him a jacket from Tarocash in which I thought suited him quite well : )

Sunday being today, I spent the day driving from whoop whoop (where I live) to Campsie. Grocery shopped a bit before heading to Belmore for take away pizza, pide and garlic bread and taking it to Grandma's for a Sunday lunch before heading home. Watched a bit of my HK drama and fell asleep for the rest of the afternoon until dinner time. Quite an eventful weekend, I must admit.

I'm meant to be busy studying, completing assignments and preparing to complete my course and start another soon but because work has been so insane, it has left me no choice but to delay my 6 exams and receive extensions for all 6 assignments. I don't really see why they even hired new people to help me out when none of them are really helping. My work table is currently a mess and I don't think I can find any gap which might show a part of the brown, varnished table. The picture below was just the start of my work pile early this week... heck it was just yesterday! It's now chaos everywhere and not even in a 'neat' pile.

Have caught the sniffles for the second time this year. It has actually been a week already but it seems to me its getting worse now. Taking a day off work tomorrow to rest but I'm really just going to spend the day with my awesome other half and hopefully destress.

Over the past month I've been working my brains off with the many things the workplace piles up on me. Dealing with students who look for me with no real reason also wastes my precious time that gets me really frustrated! 2011 is also the first year that you'd be able to spot the grey hairs on me. Gah!

Winter is a day away and I've stocked up on 5 new jackets thats hopefully going to keep me nicely snuggled and warm. 2 more jackets I'm awaiting for to arrive through the post! I'm so excited for their arrival as I love receiving something through the post :D Always good news to me!... until the day I start receiving bills, that is.

Had four out of six night outs and it includes attending birthdays, regular dinner dates, movies (Thor) and the Easter Show. Weather wasn't at its best but it was still a relaxing yet fun weekend spent. Worked 3 days and look, the weekend is here again! :D

Met up for lunch, Scream 4, dinner and random bumming during the weekend. Our once a week full day outting which we look forward to weekly :) well, I look forward to them all the time! Looking forward to the Easter Holidays even more! I asked mum for a kinder surprise egg again this year and she said no... but I came home from work seeing the kinder mix on my table :D *inserts many hearts* its really the only time I am willing to eat chocolates. Anywhoo, that was my short update. I have got 7 assignments on my back right now. 5 overdue coz I've been busy with work that they've allowed me extra time. Studying at the place you work probably does have its plus side afterall....

Weekends ago... forgive my fish brain for forgetting how long ago it was... I attended my baby cousin's first birthday! His cake is in the picture above.. the stand with the green icing cupcakes plus the one lady bug : ) Because of his birthday being his very first, it had to come before my friends and hence I had to miss out on abother 2 birthdays held on that very same day. I'm so sorry! Friday night spent with my awesome one in the city after he finished uni and after I finished work. Went for a drink at the bar with his friends before heading down to a Spanish restaurant on Pitt. Put my life at risk and let him drive me home. He enjoyed zig zagging and speeding down the quiet highway as his place is literally one long road from mine. Saturday night was Helen's birthday where we celebrated it over dinner at a Hotplate restaurant in Chinatown. Was great catching up with people when possible and glad they were sober till I left and put my life in my boy's hands for a 2nd night of him driving me home. Work. Urgh. Enough said.

As promised, we finally went to Bondi like I wanted : ) Caught Rango instead of I Am Number Four like first planned then headed to the beach for the rest of the afternoon. Still sulking over the fact that Danny looks younger than me when really he's not... I'm ageing!!!

I've also caught a cold over the weekend! I've been boasting inside my brain that I've been so strong and haven't caught a cold in a while and look what has happened! I can't take sick leaves too as I'm scared of that massive pile of work growing massiver(hush hush its not a word, I know). I've suddenly become a very busy person...

The boy and I headed down to the markets at The Rocks yesterday. Despite the slight rain, it was still enjoyable to walk around together in the afternoon. We met up with Tae and Tanya later on for a bit until he had to go to a friend's 21st and I had to go meet up with the others for bar night.

Starbar on a Saturday night with friends who I now hardly see became very enjoyable after everyones had a bit to drink. But the girl who didn't even drink started biting people and leaving teeth marks -- Terri. My arm still have those nasty teeth marks right now!! Gah!

Went for a lunch and movie date with the girls yesterday at Hurstville. Lunch was fail because we split but despite that, it was still a yummy meal :) Tangled was good too. I liked Maximus (the horse) the most hehe :D Visited Amy at Rubi afterwards because she had to miss out due to work D: Next time you cannot miss out, Amy or else you will miss out on that thing I want to give you LOL

Went to Wattamolla today with Dad and my bro. Mum and sis are up in QLD having the time of their lives as they hit up GC and enjoy their seafood and shopping. Yesss I'm a green eyed monster right naaooo v.v But yes, Wattamolla was sooo good. The water was blue, calm, clean and refreshing! There is this mini waterfall that I posted a picture of months ago during Spring and from that mini waterfall, people were jumping off that cliff! So much fun! Didn't get to have a jump though as the whole time spent there was occupied with snorkling and chasing squids and fishies out into the open water. I will nag to go again another time before the summer ends!

Silly me is excited over the weekends and as well as congratulating myself for passing probation period. Of course I’ve congratulated myself! Spoiling myself by buying a new toy to play around with is what I did : )

So after work I power walked my way up to Town Hall and I met up with the dance crew to hand over the tickets I was given and headed off to meet some of my Aussie Shawol friends I talk to on forums. It was great meeting them too! And also met some new Shawol friends including some CASSIES! Supports all around~~ Soon after I had to leave them for backstage to find out my position as I was to work there. I got the job through some networking made during my study period in Events Management.

There was a rule though that we weren't allowed to touch or talk to the artists and actors unless they conduct the conversation first. I had to get a hold onto myself everytime I saw SHINee walk by. Must I note, Onew sangtae is real. This crazy condition he has is seriously real. I managed to greet him too as he first gave the polite 90 degree bow followed by his "annyonghaseyo! SHINee leader Onew ibnida~" /shotdead I was so speechless that the only retarded thing that came into my head and was on the tip of my lips was the word "chicken". Ah, I finally understand why Onew sangtae is contagious.

The stage.

They had it set up like a mini Inkigayo/Music Bank/general music show. The back had a screen while beside it were lights and they had those laser lights too. It wasn't the plain wooden stage TownHall has but they managed to put another flooring ontop to make it presentable.

Son HoYoung was amazing! He filled up the whole hall and damn I was backstage. He flashed his abs and you hear all the fangirls screaming especially when he jumped off stage to be closer to the audience.

Following that was SHINee!! So during their stage, some crew members and I shot out to watch their stage performance and watched from the side. They performed Replay/Noona is Pretty, Lucifer and Hello.

In the start of Replay/Noona is Pretty, you hear Key shouting out "Wassup Sydneeyyy!!!" Fangirls and fanboys go wild :D The fans were so supportive that even I felt touched. Everyone sang along with the boys and the reaction was great!

Taemin was amazing! He and Key sang Jonghyun's part of each song and I swear this jailbait makdongie has improved so much! He did sooo well in Lucifer with Jjong's part just before Minho's rap!! KYA! Welldone Taeminnie~

I expected Key to speak majority of the time as he's normally in charge of speaking English but it ended up as being Onew with the leadership. Key looked really tired too as his face looked drawn but I can tell he tried his best to keep up with the jet lag. Minho, that boy. He never fails to try catching hearts of his fans with his charisma!!

Dashing back to the backstage and preparing towels and bottle of water for everyone, we heard Shin SeungHoon's beautiful voice. We all paused a little and had a little giggle at the other workers who were much older than us. We assumed that they were fans and that they lived in his era... so thats how I put it.

Saw SHINee and Son HoYoung heading out again and so I grabbed hold of my work partner as we dashed out, ready to see what stage it was. It was a joint stage between SHINee Son HoYoung and Shin SeungHoon. It was a fun stage and everyone got to see Diva!Key happen. ONEW~~~ His eye smile was adorable! -insert fangirl high pitch squeals- My SHINee bias is for sure, Onew.

The last performance featured all the performers of the night as they sang "You Raise Me Up". My heart felt raised and how much I wished the concert wouldn't have ended so soon! SHINee need to come back and have their own stage, their own solo concert in the near future! They listened and learnt well from TVXQ :D

Sigh~ It was a short, tiring yet fun night. I literally watched these boys since their official debut so it was meaningful to have seen them perform on stage in front of me. This is one highlight 2011 will forever have.

Extremely happy this morning as I could still smell and feel the SHINee vibe around me and so I bought coffee for everyone in the office this morning : ) I forgot to ask what size everyone wanted so they ended up with the Vent-size from Starbucks. Pretty much got everyone off their seats all day - hyper active, lots of laughs + lots of pee... LOL

I've got so much in mind right now but the majority of it, I cannot just openly talk about. I want to find my best friends or close friends and share it with them but I'm unsure to who they are anymore. It feels like I'm so distant from everyone and that things are so awkward now.

Sydney Crowd preparing for the countdown.

So I ended 2010 beautifully with my lovely friends. I'm saying its beautiful because we didn't meet anything nasty to ruin our day. Spent over 24 hours with them as it included staying at Terri's for the night too.

During the day we were at Mizuya for K + lunch and thats where we had the rainbow cake I personally baked for Terri. She blogged about wanting a rainbow cake so that's how it gave me the idea to make it. Who knew this pretty cake would cost me a total of 5-6 hours to make! But as long as she liked it, I'm happy about it too : )

We spent a while at this Irish bar downstairs of Capitol where everyone chilled while some went off for a walk. When it was time to leave for dinner, we made a long decision and then headed up to Sanctuary for dinner and a few game of pool. We decided that we wanted to watch the 9PM fireworks so headed down the Darling Harbour just on time. Moved down to Circular Quay slowly in the crowd for the 12AM fireworks after that. Before and after the fireworks, we tend to lose people alot. It's either we try to spot the tallest asian guy in white (LOL Jon) or we can't find anyone because the crowd are too tall for us to spot Terri, Alice and Charlene.

After fireworks we sat at the Entertainment Centre Maccaz to snack up as we wait for the crowds in the city to die down a little before catching the public transport to Terri's place where we spent the night at. At 4AM we walked the dog to pick Tae up who came after taking Tanya home. It sounds crazy, really. Normally I'm in lala land by 4AM but yesterday... I was walking the dog/running because the dog was too strong for me to pull back.

At 10:30AM I got picked up by the family and I thought I could go home for some decent sleep but how wrong I was. Yumcha with grandparents and aunt and headed back to grandparent's where I had the best shower and foot spa in the world before disappearing into my own world right after. Should I say it was also the best sleep ever? Haha~ So I didn't get home until 9:30PM... I missed home and my bed oh so much!

So 2010 has been wrapped up. I reflected on it and I can say alot has really happened. The good and the bad but both I have no regrets over. So I've met my 2010 resolutions by living the year without regrets. I can say 2010 was a year that is marked well in memory and not because it was only 'last year'. Its because I have graduated from college with distinction (yes, I'm so proud of it), found 3 jobs within 4 months, drove around to what felt like the whole of Sydney even though I'm on my L's, my parents giving us one of the best weekend away to Port Macquarie and for the things my friends have done for me and things I've done for them... plus many many more.... OH AND FOR SEEING JYJ WITH MY OWN EYES AND BREATHING THE SAME AIR AS THEM 8D

2011's resolution will be trying to improve the year by 1 mark more than last year's. I will spend 2011 studying and working well so that I can play well without doubts. Yes... so this is what I'm saying now. We shall seee...

So Christmas was filled with lots of eating, lots of family, lots of friends and lots of sweets. Gained weight like expected - sigh. Happy thing is that I got paid just in time for the shopping spree period. To be honest, nothing has caught my eyes and so I didn't buy as much as I thought I would. Oh, its not too late yet - Merry Christmas everyone : ) !!

Above pictures were just from yesterday. Spent the afternoon with family at Cronulla beach despite the cold. Had hot chips and watched waves crash against the rocks while freezing our butts off. It was still enjoyable.

SHINee is coming to Sydney as confirmed by JK Ent ealier today. I'm excited! :D

So its been a week since I've worked at this college as a receptionist. So far so good. Worked a week and the company is now on holidays so holiday for me! Ha, what a bludger! People there are quite friendly, I'm learning well and because its a college, I have a chance to take my career further once I'm old enough and have a few years of experience behind my back... as my manager told me just yesterday. So fingers crossed that this will be the last job I work with for the next year at least! I'm still considering uni because I feel that I'm not complete without even entering uni for some reason. It's a guilty kind of feeling... but I don't want to go for the reason that I hate studying. Eh. We shall seeeeeee.

So like I've probably mentioned, I quit my marketing job 2-3 weeks ago. But the good thing now is that I've found myself another job at a college. Will be doing a traineeship in business admin which is something I never planned on doing till this opportunity came along. So I guess my plans to return to uni will have to be delayed unless I can really find a career through the traineeship. I'll just take whatever comes first for now I guess. I honestly have no real plans and hope this goes well. Sighs, 3 jobs within 4 months... omona!

So I havent been feeling like me lately - yeah, what's new? I started this push and pull game because of it and am still pushing. I don't know and can't guarantee that its going to go as planned or as I hope but my fingers are crossed and hoping for the best! Hope my heart would wanna start the pulling soon too.

So the new job wasn't for me afterall. I got so sick of it due to the early mornings and late finishes. Not only that but there were many downsides which happened yesterday and it was related to them breaking some contract rules too so I rage quit and left half way through the day. Doesn't matter me really. I was really happy to have left and felt so much more relaxed. Other chances will come again soon. Thank goodness I'm not completely unemployed. I still have my lovely Sydney Props job : D

So this coming weekend - which starts tomorrow - the family and I are heading up to Port Macquarie for road trip! I absolutely love that place because its so beautiful and the apartment we're staying at is the one we stayed at last time. They have a game room including a beautiful pool. Also the apartment overlooks the beach so its simply amazing! I've got to make a quick run to Hurstville this arvo to buy junk food and what not then rush home to bake a cake for my parent's anniversary (the reason for our road trip) AND pack my bags of course! We leave first thing in the morning tomorrow!! Excited~~~ : D

So I started working at this new company last Friday. The office is very lively. In the morning, they're blasting doof doof music, very enthusiastic, young and very friendly people : ) I've officially met a few people but it'll take time to remember their names. Hooray to me, I've met my business goals so far and hoping to continue to do well in the future. It has been very fun working today with the 3 boys who never failed to provide laughter and entertainment all day long!

On Saturday, had dinner with the girls and guys. Apparently it was a surprise belated birthday dinner??? Many thanks to those who showed up that night and many many many many thanks to Terri and Danny too as I assume it was their idea.

Hazelnut Chocolate cake that has a nasty 'behind the scene making' which turned out decent. Baked by Vanessa and decorated by me for my grandma's birthday. Should've seen it when my grandma blew out the candles. The chocolate flakes and curl decoration on the top went flying across the table and it looked as though it had been snowing indoors. It never crossed my mind whilst decorating that a candle was going to be blown!

How can it be that I have such blood related person. One who speaks of nothing positive. One who can't get into someone else's shoes and think about things they might feel. One who cannot be supportive at all. He makes it seem like the negative things he say is correct because he is wiser than I am and more experienced than I am. He tells me this world is cruel, this world is a negative world. This is all coming from his point of view because he's probably because his life is negative and he cannot pick himself up to look at the brighter side of things.

In my eyes, I have a nicely bonded family and supportive friends. I have had great education, I have a job that gives me reasonable income. I have shelter and I have love to give and receive. To me, life is positive.

Recently I've been wanting to change jobs to find something that'll give me a better foundation towards my career. I did it. I was accepted and only needed to go in to sign contracts and what not. Heading home, with high hopes and confidence that I will be able to do well in this job, I let my family know about the good news. But this one particular person did not congratulate me but rather throw negative words in my face about the job and all. It really turned me off and I really felt down in the dark pits. Is there anything I do that can earn some positive words from you?

So a week has gone by and I am meant to go for training tomorrow. However I received a call from the company apologising that the vice directors aren't able to be in for the training due to having to go out of the country for urgent business. So I told him and what do I hear? More negative words. Telling me I'm being fooled around by the place, telling me I should look for something else, telling me I should tell them I no longer want the job. I swear it got me ever so furious!!

I'm trusting this company for a future and am trying to be as patient as I can be. I've been worried for 5 months that I won't be able to move on and find something I want to do. Finally when there is hope, there is always that one person trying to pull me down. To be honest, I too am disappointed that the training day has been moved. I am worried that they might not want to sign that contract with me! I didn't hear any comforting words such as "its okay" or anything along that simple 2 word line.

At this very moment, I don't know how I'm expected to live. I am being taken over by my emotions that I'm starting to run down that negative pathway. I'm exhausted and need a place where I can collapase at without a worry... I will be fine.

You are just like grandpa. You tell us about the negative things he says or does or how he treats you. I wish you could just realise that you're looking at yourself when you look at him.

Birthday & Halloween weekend.

So my birthday 2010 started with a midnight call from Danny and telling me he was right outside my front door. He literally was because I could hear his voice coming from outside. Funny thing to it was that I couldn't open the door for him, afraid the door screech will wake the parents up as their room was right beside it. Didn't even think about the side or back doors at that time. Thinking about it now, I still feel stupid. But again, thank you Danny : D

The rest of the day wasn't a big deal. I requested for a normal day and so I got it. Spent the day with the family and what not. Thank you to those who gave their special wishes : ) !! Love you guys so much~

Yesterday was Halloween~~ Picked up Alice in the afternoon to go to Dennis's place for a movie day/night. Thank you Dennis for baking that cake for me.. Thank you Wendy for having decorated it too. Thanks to Alice and Lian for contributing into singing the birthday song. LOL the many many bright candles made me feel ultra old! Its no wonder why I requested my family to only put on 2 on my cake.

We watched Vampires Suck, Day and Night, Scary Movie 1... nothing too scary because Alice hates horror films apparently and refused to watch any.

Have been quite a free person in the past two weeks. Caught Resident Evil with Danny on the big screen, spent days shopping, driving, played the lazy bludger, started reading books again and started on an abstract painting that is to be hung up in my parents' room. Ah, I've been trying to keep fit and gaining my 4 freaking chocolate blocks back but nooo... massive blob yo.

On Saturday it was my sister's 18th. Because she's got her HSC this year we couldn't hold much of a party for her with her friends and so we had a small one with our relatives at home.

So I've started going through some old songs and came across Eric Benet on my player. I really do recommend this RnB artist to anyone because his songs are great and he has a really good voice! Although he's debuted for over 10 years already, his songs still don't fail me. He could be the one artist that I'd be listening to when I'm in my 40's and upwards like how my parents listen to The Beatles and what not.

A good friend of mine was feeling troubled and needed someone to hear her out. Even though I live quite a fair distance from her, I didn't hesitate but to go out to see her. She had family, social and finance problems and no matter how much I felt like jumping in to help her, she raised her hand and shook her head. She told me that the best thing I have done was to travel so far and lend her my ears. She then had a final request and hoped I could pray for her, in which I will every day or every night. I hope she can find the answers to her troubles and that she can mend them to be able to move on.

On the way back, I bought take away food from a nearby restaurant. Just as I was heading down to the train station, I saw a homeless man who looked like he had almost no energy left. Because he looked like he needed food more than I did, I asked if he cared for the food I bought. He was extremely happy and thankful and accepted it.

Just coming across this man made me realise that the less you have, the more you tend to appriciate the very little things in life. I guess I will have to change the way I see things and try to enjoy things in life a little more.

These are just the two good things I've done for people this week and the week hasn't even come to an end yet. Because I am able to, I will do all I can to lend a helping hand or my listening ears.

That was us at the park in Hurstville last week. I forgot what day it was but yes, last week...

Met up with Alice and Terri and had yumcha before meeting Sam and he bummed with us for a while till he had to leave. The met up with Tae and had cheese cake at Ella's. After cake we took Tae to buy his new phone then went off the the park where we sat/lazed around for a good hour before leaving for home.

On Tuesday, I met up with Celia and Alice for lunch to catch up with them. Also brought along Celia's present from Terri and I - Terri couldn't make it due to work. Carrying the massive present all morning around Campsie and on the way to the city wasn't fun. Lots of starring but it was worth it because Celia liked it : )

We had Jap for lunch and right after that, headed to Cakes by Helen for dessert. Was very full after that so decided to head down towards Townhall to get Alice's takoyaki. Right after that we all caught the train to Hurstville where we met up with Celia's mum and sat at the Coffee Club for a good hour or so before heading home. A day full of eating but was nice seeing the two again!

I've also spent the last few nights watching 泡沫之夏. To be honest, I thought it'd end up really boring because the beginning was too serious and somewhat confusing but I carried on watching it anyway and I quite enjoyed it. I can't wait to visit the cd store soon though because it means I can finally purchase My Girlfriend is a Ninetailed Fox.. and in probably 2 weeks or maybe even next week, Playful Kiss!!~ Forever drama addicted... sighs.

During the weekends, mum and I managed to head out to Ikea to buy a few wall decorations for the house as we've could never find time to do up the house a bit more. That was kinda fail because the pictures we wanted were out of stock. But we did come home with a bunk bed for me and my sister. So out it was with the old beds and in with the new... plus alot of work moving the wardrobes and putting in a new drawer. Now the room has more space and is so much neater! ... and so much girly-er D:

That night, headed out to Campsie for Lian's birthday! It was great seeing everyone again - almost everyone... and it was also a fun night : ) Thank you Lian for such a great night and I hope you enjoyed it as much as we did!!

Day after, I drove the family down to Cronulla to sit around the rocks while he and bro picked up some snails. It was nice just sitting around and being bitten by whatever it was... *glares* Headed home as it was getting dark and we needed to start the BBQ - oh, 2nd day of having BBQ and I swear I'm breaking out like mad right now D:

And yesterday.. GAH! It was a nightmare. Had to rearrange the lounge room because mum wanted to fit this glass table in that didn't match whatever it is. And she wanted her stupid chair to fit in too and it really made the place look awkward. So sis and I took almost 2 hours moving stupid heavy couch around and around and finally got the lounge looking cozy for the summer thats yet to come.

No more moving of furniture, PLEASE. My back... I'm ageing!

Catching up with time.

Weekends are the times I look forward to every week. This weekend, I headed out to the city with my parents and uncle Kev to meet up with our worker who happened to have travelled from the Solomons to Sydney to stay for a while. So we met up with her and it brought to me a weird feeling to see her. I was still very young when she stopped working for us so I don't have much memory left of her... but I do remember what she looks like. I stuttered alot throughout our conversation due to being very rusty with my Melanesian Pigin. However, it was nice to see her again.

Yesterday, I headed out to the city to meet up with Terri for some shopping and 'fail straw dieting' before meeting up with Tae, Tanya, Noel and Charley for K despite myself being sick. Was great to see humans again and to actually have conversations. Work has taken chit chat away from my life due to having to face props all day!

Had my first day of work yesterday. Many fails before I even got there. I had to follow this map and stupid Tempe area has either no street signs or the street signs are facing the wrong way, making me take wrong roads, walking up and down hills and taking a whole 40 minute to get to where I want. Funny thing was that the longest wrong road I took, I was seriously sussed out coz I started seeing many shops and I saw nothing like that on google map. So I turned my head and there was like HUGE sign that said "WELCOME TO SYDENHAM". Oh, FML. A song happened to play in my head at that very moment and it went something like "oh oh oh oh oh oh oh my God~~". I walked a whole freaking suburb so I had to trek it back up a steep hill. Thank goodness I decided to get there early to find the place and came across this friendly old man who happens to work at the same street I work at : )

Got to work and as soon as this man heard my name, he knew where I was working already and took me around the place and finally I was given my first work. I for the past 2 days have been assisting in making table centre pieces for Loreal's ball they're having very soon. Yes, I've finally gotten a job I want and that leads to a career I want in the events industry - Theming and decoration : D Cannot express how happy I am coz I'm finally making a move on on this path that has been paused for 2 months. Fingers crossed that all goes well!

So it's been a pretty good week for me : ) Managed to score myself 2 jobs on the spot and even if they don't last, I'm more than happy to just even give it a try. Both in the events industry but one is more art related so I'm extremely excited!

In the afternoon today, I met up with Danny and we bummed around in the city before catching Despicable Me. Such a cute and funny movie that I enjoyed : ) Also thanks to Danny for getting me the two cats from Capitol. I wanted it a few weeks back but he couldn't get it so went back himself and managed to have gotten 2 and kept it as a surprise for me. He called them 'Pain & Suffering'... so for his effort and all, I'll keep the names that way.

Some people really have that power to make me think about or worry for them alot... more than I should or am expected to. Or is this just my old self coming back again? That old me that I left behind years ago... I spent 2 nights in a row trying to fall asleep but only finding myself starring at the wall all night with countless thoughts running through my head. I hope I can click myself to sleep tonight!

On another hand, I drove down to Woolongong for the first time! I can say the trip there was pretty unfair. I was stuck at a 80km/hr speed where as other cars were able to meet and exceed the 110km/hr. Imagine how slow I was going on the road with all these cars over taking me one by one!! Grr!! Either way, it was a good drive (excluding the wind) and I really enjoy shopping there. It's different from the usual and even clothing sold are slightly different.

BHGHS 50th Anniversary

So today was the high school's 50th celebration. Having nothing better to do, I attended along with Alice, Celia, Anita, Helen and Natasha. We were by far, the youngest school leavers because the others who attended were 40 years and older... some coming out from nursing homes too as heard. Either way, we had fun catching up with the teachers.

After the celebration, Celia's aunt picked Celia, Alice and I up to head off to Hurstville for late lunch as the scones and brownies weren't enough to fill our tummys. We needed real food. Celia's baby cousin is so damn adorable! Finally she looked me in the eye and called me "fishy" :D

So yesterday in the afternoon, I headed out to the city to meet up with the SMASH crew after they had finished K. Walked to the Pavillion Hotel where we had dinner. Shared the steak, chips & salad with Terri. Although food wasn't up to what we would like, the people there made it great. I enjoyed catching up and spending time with people. Who knows whens the next time I'm gonna

be able to spend time with them~ After the awards and speech were made, Terri left to go home to complete her assignment and so the rest of us who stayed behind linked arms down to Capitol.

At Capitol, we basically hung around, trying lucks on the UFO machines. The usual thing. Bumped into Lian and Dennis so hung around with them a bit while others headed down to Passion Flower. After a while, Danny walked me to where my dad was and home time! The night was good for a casual get together. Many laughter and lots of "try avoiding -this- person" kinda thing for various and legit reason.

Today! Despite the gloomy and cloudy weather, I drove over to my uncle's factory to pick up some gifts grandma brought back from her trip to China. (Thank you grandpawpaw~) After picking up the gifts, drove down to La Perouse for some fish and chips as my parents were craving for it for quite some time. Got their cravings satisfied and headed home where I went flat out on the couch for a bit before headed out to Menai.

-fangirl moment switch on- SIGHS. SHIP ME TO LA NAOOOO!! I want to be at the SM Town Concert!!! Friggin fancams aren't enough for me! I hope they release a DVD for the concert though. That'd be JOY. 6 hours full of my lovely SM biases *v* -fangirl moment switch off-

Met up with Dollis and Aram after a long month and a bit delay. Had a good time catching and and lunch at Ding Tai Fung Restaurant at World Square. This restaurant is well known for its dumplings and you can wait till up to over an hour, nearing 2 hours during busy days for a table. Luckily, we only had to wait for 30 minutes before there was a table vaccant for us. Ordered quite a bit and had to force down whatever was left as we didn't want to waste food like we usually did.

After lunch, because Dollis felt left out for not having a bang for a fringe like Aram and I do, she decided on the spot she was going to get one too... and she really did. Straight to the hair salon, sat down, snipped off her pretty, long fringe and hello bangs. She suited that hair style very well though and it was quite a major change too. She looked pretty anyway : ) Played a round of basketball shoots at Prize Paradise and me getting to level 4 on my own for the first time! Chyeaahh~ After that, I walked the 2 girls to Central before walking back to meet up with Danny.

Headed down to Darling Harbour with him and spent the rest of the afternoon sitting near the water side to talk about anything possible. Just another way to pass by the afternoon and keep one another company : )

Had another night of a mood-run-down. That familiar bitter feeling crept up and attacked me emotionally. I couldn't control myself and became childish and chucked tamtrums as I became very sulky throughout the night. However, I tried to get my thoughts off things and turned towards my passion for drawing. I drew numorous pictures for hours and finally got to sleep at around 5am.

Woke up at 7am and sat in front of the television watching children shows and drifted off to sleep again for a bit before heading out of the house around 8:30am. I began to think to myself of how stupid I am to have let any thoughts attack me and ruin my night. I reflected for a while and decided that it's a new day and it shall be a new start. Can only move forward from here... but it will take time to actually get a move on. Time is all I have right now...

Exhausting weekend!

So on Saturday it was SMASH! 2010 at Townhall. Had only 4 hours of sleep, woke up at 5am to give Danny a wake up call and we met at the venue just before 7am. Super early start. Surprisingly, there were already attendees at the gates waiting for the convention to open when we got there... and the gates don't open till 9-9:30am... what can I say? It's a once a year convention. That morning, we were line marshalls and kept the giant lines from interupting the general public. That was hectic as there were waaayyy too many people that the venue met it's maximum capacity and tickets were officially sold out, causing some people to miss out this year.

Didn't exactly have a break like expected afterwards as Danny and I were part of the general duty crew. We set foot into the green room and were then told to do other duties. Missed out on food too but thats okay. We managed to get a quick half hour break later on and grabbed ourselves cold icy drinks even though the weather was quite cold too.

For the whole day, I literally spent it with Danny. Theres a good side and bad side to it. Alot of bullying between the two of us but was entertaining enough while it lasted. I had my rest from the bullying when Danny became extremely tired and had no energy left to use on me. What good timing because by that time, I was energized!

Packed up and left the venue by 8pm then Terri, Alice, Roger, Danny and I hit up Star Bar to meet up with Dennis, Anita, Fiona, Ryan, Daniel and .... the others who I didn't get to catch their names. We were quite late so the others have eaten already and were downstairs eating while the rest of us hungry humans headed upstairs to pig out. Later Roger and Danny played pool while we watched and they later played teams with some other randoms who wanted a friendly game. From there, Ryan who was tipsy came upstairs to watch them play and talked to the random guys and.... my eyes got soiled. Enough said.

Headed home afterwards and spent another 2 hours staying up and letting the excitment in me die down before completely knocking out in bed till the next morning. My sleep got disturbed as I got woken up and dragged to Burwood for shopping and lunch and later visiting Bankstown for some grocery shopping. Grabbed a Happy Cup, bought a few dramas and headed home. Thought I could get some sleep but was forced to rake leaves in the backyard T.T Was totally unhappy as I was still extremely physically tired! Got to the point where I just left the backyard, into my room and crawled into bed and didn't know the world existed till later that evening.

Today, fully energized again and drove the family, minus my brother (he was at school) to Wattamolla. The drive today was stressful as mum was in the backseat pressuring me and talking soo loudly and telling me how to drive while dad was sitting beside me and telling me something else. I had to shut the two out from my ears and drove the way I wanted which was hard coz bloody woman's voice got louder in the backseat!!!! sighs... The picnic we had there got me relaxed again so it was all good afterwards. The drive back became smoother and easier as mum fell asleep (Thank the Lord!~)

Saturday was Anita's 20th at Mizuya Japanese Restaurant & Karaoke.

Sunday was Dennis's house warming party. I think I got the dates wrong or something but most people left by the time I got there with Joey. Well, those who went to Anita's crashed at Dennis's for the night as I was told. So it was just Lian and JoeyH left but it was a reasonable evening with movies, games and a makeup session from JoeyH.

Monday.

A lovely drive through the National Park. Visited Wattamolla for the first time since I've come back to Australia after a long absence. I was told by my dad that it is probably the first beach I've visited when I was a baby.. or few years old. We also visited the small town called Bundeena. It was so peaceful and relaxing there especially when sitting in the jetty and watching the sunset! I will visit those places again some time : )

Got my RSA and RCG at last! Went to do the course with Danny on Friday and today (Sunday). Also had his friend Stephanie with us on Friday and today we had his friend, Fiona. Random bumming happened as per usual which wasn't bad since I enjoy walking around at most times. Better than sitting on my fat ass doing nothing : )

SHINee's Lucifer MV was released today. The choreography of the dance was good and powerful. Their comeback album is what I've been listening to 2 nights in a row now and I can't help but say that I might just like the album. Will get it the next time I visit the city CD store and at the same time, grab a copy of G.NA's album too : ) Apart from having difficulties accepting Key's half shaved hair at the moment, Taemin is becoming a problem. He's a potential jailbait for me /shotdead. Please ship me back to my dubu Onew >.<
